Hi, I'm Omar

I'm currently COO at Ascend, a travel-tech company using AI to offer a 24/7 travel concierge to some of the most demanding clients in the world — Google Ventures, Ramp, Charlotte Tilbury, and hundreds more. We're a team of 80 and we've hit $25m ARR with 3x growth in the past 12 months.

Before Ascend, I started Temple, an AI-powered digital marketing platform for the music industry. We raised $2.5m and worked with many of the world's biggest artists, managers and labels including Warner Music Group, AWAL and The Orchard before being acquired by Groover in 2025. I've also been a VC investor, a growth analyst and a PM, as well as spending three years as a stock market analyst at investment banks in London and Amsterdam.

These days I spend most of my day in Claude Code, which I use to solve problems and streamline operations across every department — growth, biz dev, product, engineering, HR and people. I'm sharing some of my learnings here.
